When a photograph lies to you

Sometimes looking at a photo without knowing the backstory will make you believe things that are not true. Yes photos can lie. This photo makes you think the boy is in a very dangerous place, when actually he's standing on a ledge which you can barely see, there is solid ground about one foot below the ledge which you cant see, so he is perfectly safe. The look of fear is actually him pleading with me to not take his picture.

This photograph really does lie. Cool indeed.
 
Terry, is this thread open for others as well? Because if it is then other "lying photographs" may not have people in them. And then this thread would be better at home in The Creative Corner. Let me know what your thoughts are on this?

(I'm asking because I too have a lying photograph, but without people in it)
