My breakfast this morning: a banana/oat/egg pancake. Put some cinnamon on it and it's delicious.

It looks like the finished dish but it's still cooking here. I just lifted the lid (couldn't shoot lifting the lid whilst taking a pic with the iPhone simultaneously).

i dont like to cook.

i HAVE cooked and i KNOW HOW to cook.

i dont like to cook.

about a month after my wife passed i was getting groceries so i could make lunches. the first aisle after fruit and produce is mostly mexican fixings before it swings around at the back for bread, which is where i was headed.

for some reason, as i walked by the tortillas, i grabbed a pack of Corn Torts. i guess for Casa Dillas, FLOUR is better. i also grabbed some kind of diced chicken from the meat chillers. it was pre-cooked and seasoned although i dont recall any seasoning...

i remember a girl i briefly dated in Oklahoma, 30 years ago, would fry them in a frying pan so since i also found a package of shredded Cheddar Jack cheese in the refrigerator, i gave it ago...

Gotta wait to see the finished product. The ladies at the community center will have a good dessert.
I bet it tasted good! I love pineapple!!

I don't know if anyone here remembers a chain called Wimpy. The were like McDonald's except they served you. Anyway they had pineapple hamburgers that I loved. I used to eat them with tomato ketchup only. Oh my, those were so good!! Wimpy didn't make it though, at least they all went poof in the Netherlands.

my grandmother made those and they were always FABULOUS. i remember mostly when they had a stove, that didnt have a pilot light. they would turn on the gas, then turn on the burner and light it with a wooden stick match.

not sure when the replaced THAT death trap because im CERTAIN my sister or i turned on the gas more than once. we were just doing what we'd seen our grandparents do 100s of times.

and i see youre doing it RIGHT with a cast iron skillet
