That looks amazing. A cycle car? So you have to pedal yourself? That is pretty cool but I imagine not really for long distances!
The 1913 Scripps-Booth Rocket Cyclecar had a motor cycle engine that was belt driven to the rear wheels.

no. just chain drive vs a drive shaft as in modern cars.

Wow, look at that chain! The principle seems pretty much the same as on a bicycle. Just a bit bigger. I love the name “motorette”. Somehow seems fitting. :D
