Wow, look at that chain! The principle seems pretty much the same as on a bicycle. Just a bit bigger. I love the name “motorette”. Somehow seems fitting.no. just chain drive vs a drive shaft as in modern cars.
here is a 1911 Kelsey Model M Motorette and a 1906 Cadillac Model K runabout with chain drives
