local single-A hockey team roster / website photos.

Xplor 400 with a socked 44" reflector 45o down, 45o to the side (rembrandt lighting)

one of the high school marching bands i shoot (they have their own annual book with these and performance photos)

same lighting. the first girl (Jay) was being silly with the gray card but her mom loved it and bought an 8x10 lol

These are excellent.
I love the background.

theyre more than suitable for what they are used for.

the band yearbook photos are about the size of an immigration photo (1x1-1/4") and the hockey league's website just STOMPS on the quality so actually i might be better off putting more effort into GREAT headshots for it.

the backdrop is a Kate's backdrop on the spring metal frame so it collapses like many of the 5-in-1 reflectors. not sure of the 'catalog number' but i call it Teal and Blue for the two different sides/shades

If all your portraits for the yearbook are reduced to this tiny headshot, then maybe just do headshots. Unless people purchase the portraits?

I have a few collapsible diffusers for when I was doing tabletop photography.
I just like the backdrop you used. It looks really nice.

yeah, the parents of seniors will buy a few of these in normal sizes for grandparents and such.
