I read the pandemic interfered with the schedule and now they hope to finish it in 2030.

And they have exhausted what Gaudi actually designed. He knew that he would never complete every last detail of the design and some of his design plans were destroyed in the Spanish civil war, so a lot of what they are now doing is "in the style of...".

I looked at the Wiki. The pandemic caused a delay. The English Wiki says it's now scheduled to finish in 2034. The Dutch version says 2030.
