I had one of these lick my hand once. Great looking animals, but they have really bad breath. Had to wash my hand with water and soap to get rid of the stench.

It was. It's probably acrylic, and quite thick.Oh my... I hope the glass was strong enough!
We went through a fairly dark tunnel before emerging into the clear portion,
and this was our view upon emerging. It was quite an interesting view!
I mean, how often do you get to look up at the underside of a polar bear!?
