This shot is from 2013, when the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam reopened after a decade's long remodelling. These flags were everywhere and in just about every language.

Pere Marquette #12 was a river ferry for transporting oversized railroad cars from Port Huron Michigan to Sarnia Ontario before a new larger tunnel was built in 1994 to replace the first ever sub-aqueous international (train) tunnel built between the two cities in 1891.
