Many thanks. I spotted the shot on the previous day; then returned next morning when it was quiet. But I still had to remove one man! They have placed a bollard in the gateway now.

Thank you, Levina. Fortunately I was staying nearby and within easy walking distance from the Puorto. Pisa is not large and the the River Arno and all the historic buildings are very accessible
