Morebath, Devon. Back in the sixteenth century the vicar of this church, one Christopher Trychay kept church accounts that amounted to a diary that gives fascinating insight into the life of this village in north Devon throughout the Reformation period. I learnt about it from this book, which I couldn't put down: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Voices_of_Morebath

I love that building. Actually I've just been re-reading one of the guidebooks about it history and design. Is this a recent shot? I don't see too much scaffolding.
No, image taken in October 2016. I removed the scaffolding in post to enhance the building details. Probably verboten, but I remove many distracting things from my images.

I do this in Faststone viewer, it's quick but I have the Chinese Airbrush app that has an AI eraser and does it better and quicker. I was wondering if i can do it in windows too.

I copied and pasted the verbiage from my other "downtown church" post.

went on a walking tour of the local downtown churches last summer. this was the newest of the 6 still downtown. its a Lutheran Church from the 50s

i am SO bad about some of my photography. i shot a photo of each church on my 4x5 Graflex and i STILL havent processed the film. good thing i have INSTANT digital!

this is another Lutheran church. i dont recall its age..
