These pics were taken last summer at an ancient sand dune in Ottawa called Pinhey Site 3. The place hosts many interesting bugs including some rarely found elsewhere.

Those are pretty cool.

Nice shooting, Ed. They're all very interesting and thank God insects aren't our size. Could you imagine a 6 ft. tall praying mantis attacking you?! My fav. is #3.

If bugs were our size I reckon we’d be in serious trouble!
Thanks for the comments! Bugs are pretty interesting seen up close, and are fun to photograph.
