They look kinda like our ‘oliebol’, which is a traditional New Year’s Eve treat. Also made of dough but has a variant with raisins that is delicious. We eat them with powdered sugar.
 
A house below ours used to be owned by a builder, Before he sold the place in 2019 he added an extension. Here is the roof going on.

And here is the finished item. Good, eh? Needless to say the new owners had to have the whole thing redone. What a pair of cowboys!

Alphorns! I've never actually heard how they sound, but it can't possibly be pretty (sorry Ed!). :brgrin:
It's not unpleasant when they are played well, but it seems to be a very tricky instrument to control and I'm not sure it's capable of any agility.

I'm sure it sounds GREAT in the Alps, but I fear if you would play it in our flat land you could here it in all corners of the country! ;haha;:love:
