The Atomium structure in Brussels, Belgium, consists of nine, 18-meter-diameter stainless steel spheres, connected to form a unit cell of an iron crystal magnified 165 billion times. These spheres are linked by steel tubes containing stairs, escalators, and a lift, allowing visitors access to the six visitable spheres, which house exhibits and a restaurant.
