Nice! I always associate golf with older guys in bad pants but these seem to be youngsters.

I used to play when I was young. I was pretty hopeless at it though. I kept losing my balls. (Seriously! )

Never shot golf, but I can imagine it being quite challenging due to the speed of the swing (like in the second photo, even though shutter was 1/2000) and the potential deviations from the focus plane during the movement depending on the photographers angle to the swing. Like the ball moving away from the player in the first photo. Haven't seen much golf photos so not sure what is 'regular' but I guess you did a nice job as movement/ speed are part of the golf (swings in particularly).

I see you used a R3, did you use electronic shutter on these?

Electronic I shoulda shot faster ss but I wanted to keep the iso down. Yeah it was “different “
