Cool Clouds. Let's see them!

Thanks, Levina. I had never heard of them either until I saw one for the first time and did a little research to see what they were and what they were called.

Cool clouds, I've always liked when the clouds do that. I could be wrong, but I think those are called 'stratocumulus' clouds. I just call them the fluffies.

Interesting phenomenon. I've never seen it.

From the article:

Probably the most significant difference between the two is that a rainbow usually signals an end to the rain, while a sun dog often means that rain is on the way—often within the next 24 hours. Next time you see a sun dog, look out for foul or wet weather!

I'll keep that in mind!

This was a thunderstorm over Paris, TX, as seen from Durant, OK. At least 50 miles straight line distance, about 80 miles driving the highways.
